Getting Started with Your Presentation
To get started, head on over to the library and select create new presentation. At the top left corner, you'll have three ways to start your presentation:
- You can start from a blank presentation using a theme.
- You can start from different templates that your team librarian has created for you.
- Or you can start from one of the Beautiful.ai starter templates.
Once you've made your selection, you'll be dropped into what we call the editor view. This interface is designed for intuitive creation. The left-hand side provides your slide-level controls. Here, you'll be able to make edits to your colors and your color selections, explore different smart layout options, as well as utilize the ability to drag and drop elements directly onto your slide. The AI helps ensure these elements align perfectly within the chosen layout.
Adding Slides and Content
To add a new slide, click on the add slide button on the right. You'll be dropped into what we call the templates library. Here you can select a blank template or choose from one of the many inspiration gallery slides. These inspiration gallery slides are a great way for you to jump right into creating a slide; simply select one and begin editing the content to fit your specific needs. The predefined structure helps maintain design consistency while allowing you to focus on your message.
Collaboration and Sharing
The right-hand side of the editor view houses your collaboration level controls. You'll be able to add a comment and tag a user within your workspace directly on a slide. Tagged users will be notified via email, in-app notification, or Slack if they've set it up, facilitating seamless teamwork. You can also assign ownership of a slide to keep your projects organized, especially when working with multiple contributors. Once you're done creating, you can present directly from the editor by clicking on the play button at the top. Alternatively, you can easily send an email with a link to your presentation by clicking share and selecting 'send a secured invite', ensuring your work reaches the intended audience securely.
